The modeling of dynamic systems implies the application of physical and mathematical processes that allow the description of a system, plant or process that varies in time by means of mathematical and graphical representations in the time domain, frequency domain or by its matrix representation. by state spaces when it comes to mathematical modeling, and by means of flow charts or block diagrams when it comes to graphical representation.

To model a system, the type of nature of the system must be taken into account, that is, if it is a mechanical, electrical, hydraulic system, among others, and with this information obtain the equations that describe the expected behavior of the system. Once described by ordinary differential equations, it proceeds to represent it in the desired domain, fulfilling the criteria of linearity and homogeneity, to finally check its graphic response to external stimuli, expecting positive responses in terms of stability, controllability and observability of the system.

Finally, modeling a dynamic system is the basis for the selection and application of control techniques that are required in the processes to obtain a better response to any external stimulus to which the process is subjected.
