Competitive Benchmarking In Automotive Technical Service Centers
This document shows the competitive analysis based on Benchmarking tools methodological development, it was carried out on Villavicencio (Colombia) companies in the automotive sector (servitecas), The research objective was to formulate strategies that improve since key success factors established in the business analysis level competitive, allowing the identification of those stimulating points but also the establishment of gaps between five automotive technical service companies who made the development of the measurement feasible. At the end of the research, wide gaps are evident between organizations whose competitive profile is higher and those with less comparative developments. The study corroborates that companies in the highest quartile make a difference, possibly due to their time in the market, the organizational structure, facilities, processes, and brand aspects that should be improved by companies with a lower level of development.
