In Colombia with the entry into force of the resolution of the Ministry of Mines and Energy 40072 of January 29, 2018 and the CREG circular 054 of 2018 and taking into account the modification made by resolution 40483 of May 30, 2019, in which electricity distribution companies in the country are requested, the implementation of the intelligent or advanced AMI measurement, which a technological solution of new measurement equipment, telecommunications infrastructure, energy management and operation systems that allow a remote and automated management of the meters, through a bidirectional flow of information through the electrical networks, optimizing their operation, contributing to improve reliability, safety and quality of service, companies in the electricity sector are obliged to seek alternatives with systems that are capable of analyzing all the information collected during the imp Reading of a pilot project of AMI. During a pilot assembly carried out in the municipalities of Virginia and Santa Rosa de Cabal of the Department of Risaralda in the low voltage networks owned by Chec SA ESP, in which the installation of the AMI system with infrastructure that includes hardware, software, was carried out. communications equipment and measuring equipment, an analysis of the electrical variables obtained as power, voltage, current and consumption will be developed through a graphical interface in Matlab that allows obtaining data for loss control and energy efficiency.
