The meta region is characterized by having extensive crops of oil palm, dry rice, corn, soybeans, bananas and export-type products are also grown such as ornamental fish, insecticides, herbicides, reptile skins, leather products, furniture. In Meta, large companies such as palmeras del llano, multi-palma, palmar de san juan, among others, are the ones that make their processes more technologically advanced in order to be recognized in the region and generate work, for small farmers, as they do not have the support The strength of government and private entities in terms of their financing to make crops technic, means that many small but important crops in the region are not technified or do not have the precedent of their production and commercialization, the above, generates new possibilities to venture into new models to take better advantage of the quality of the soil. Although the indicators provided by the Colombian Ministry of Agriculture are promising in the Meta region, an article published by the money magazine called "Failures of the agricultural sector in Colombia" (Dinero, 2018) indicates that in Colombia low planning is what affects the country's productivity. According to the above information, and analyzing the different fronts to solve the problem of productivity in the field in Colombia, a system is then proposed that is capable of taking data in real time and making the different crops more technologically advanced through the use of sensors and actuators. that allow to increase the production levels in the Aquaponic Culture developed in Villavicencio.
