The main objective of this research is to build a proposal for the social appropriation of knowledge that allows small agricultural producers in the municipality of Sopetrán Antioquia to acquire the necessary knowledge that enables their skills to access public and private financing sources. The study has a cross section and is of a mixed type, its design is exploratory sequential DEXPLOS and has been conceived in three stages: a mapping of actors, a diagnosis of the current state of the community studied regarding access to resources and the appropriation proposal social knowledge object of this study. The results of the preliminary documentary investigation indicate a poor performance of small agricultural producers in a territory with many possibilities, which can be better used through access to public and private resources. There is a need to improve the skills of the population studied so that they can more easily access resources to support their companies.
