Identification of the soft skills required of human talent for hiring in SMEs in the District of Santa Marta in 2022

The intention of this study was to comprehend and characterize the process, phenomenon, or direct influence between hiring and soft skills as it occurs in reality; for which a review of information was conducted to provide a starting point for the research. The methodology used consisted of one (1) standard survey with open and closed questions to reveal whether there is a direct relationship between soft skills and hiring. Finally, we concluded that, at the business level, for SMEs in the district of Santa Marta, soft skills are closely related to the hiring decision by the recruiter, so that they become an indispensable requirement to achieve a space in the competitive labor world.
On the other hand, it was examined that the generational range does not have an impact or generate a distinction when it comes to  equesting soft skills as a requirement for hiring.
