Understanding open government as a model of interaction between the State and citizens, it is necessary to define and implement strategies that facilitate communication between these actors, thus allowing citizens to exercise their right to intervention in the management of public administration. Thanks to technological progress, this model of government has become more relevant, which has led to the development of policies at the national level aimed at the modernization of the Colombian State, as well as the definition of strategies for transparency, citizen participation and accountability.

The applied project aims to build an open government strategy in the Consejo Profesional Nacional de Ingeniería – COPNIA, in order to encourage the participation of those registered in the professional registry. For this work, the methodology of weighted criteria was applied, including an approach of alternatives, as well as the definition and evaluation of the selection criteria and the analysis of actors, resulting in the implementation of the Registered Portal, an exclusive web portal for professionals who are in the professional registry of COPNIA
