This research proposal will allow identifying the effects that COVID 19 has had on the competitiveness, teleworking, value chains and electronic commerce of the Pacific Alliance in 2020, where the member countries (Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and Chile) established in the Framework Agreement as its main objective to establish an area of deep integration in order to continue progressively in favor of a free circulation of goods, services, capital and people, thus motivating development, growth and competitiveness. The scope will be at the international level with the member countries, under the mixed analytical methodology and non-experimental design, since the different categories of variables will be analyzed: electronic commerce, competitiveness, value chains and teleworking. The proposed research design is cross-sectional, since the study will not assume follow-up over time and will be developed in a specific period. Integration of the economic theories of Porter’s diamond and the use of competitive advantage will be carried out to build the reflection of the results obtained in the qualitative and quantitative phase that facilitate locating a theoretical model that explains the phenomenon of competitiveness and the effect of COVID19 in these economies. As results of the investigation, after the analysis of the data collected with the different instruments that will be used, the following will be obtained: Presentations, articles, degree work and the final report where the updated study is presented that tends to make strategic decisions in the commercial model among the member countries of the Pacific Alliance.
