The present investigation tries to consult the necessary information coming from the Penitentiary and Prison Centers of the city of Valledupar, that serves as a foundation to establish guidelines that help the problem of rehabilitation of the same inmate population, it is sought to generate a system of opportunities for the inmates of the Penitentiary and Prison Centers of Valledupar through Social Entrepreneurship and its productive initiatives. Objective. To generate a system of opportunities for the inmates of the Penitentiary and Prison Centers of Valledupar through Social Entrepreneurship and their productive initiatives. Methodology. Cronbach's Alpha statistical method was used for data analysis. The type of research will be descriptive with non-experimental and field design, as an instrument for collecting information, there is a survey through the use of a questionnaire applied to the sample that represents the population under study, within them we have: custody and surveillance body, administrative and managerial personnel and our main source of information that are the inmates of the establishments. To support this research, it will be necessary to consult authors such as: Milton Friedman (1970), Kolstad (2007), Porter and Kramer (2002), Skoll in Dearlove (2004) and Olsen (2004). Results It shows that there are many needs within the prison establishments of Valledupar for the development and materialization of developing productive activities and therefore formalizing entrepreneurial ideas.
