Articulation of the school and the context: the case of modeling the price of lulo (Solanum quitoense) from the classroom
The objective of the article is to describe the process of mathematical modeling developed in the classroom during two school years, years that comprise secondary education in Colombia, these types of pro posals are scarce and little implemented in the school; This research is approached from a qualitative approach; describing, interpreting and understanding the entire process from observation, interaction, written and oral production from the classroom for the case of the price of lulo in Colombia, this process is carried out as a classroom exercise; Among its main results is the articulation of school content with the context of the students and in which the different moments that are evoked when facing the case of the price of lulo in Colombia are described; the above, allowing to capture the interest of the stu dents throughout the process, managing to identify the articulation of the school contents when facing the solution of the problem and describing each one of the moments of the mathematical modeling from the perspective of Blum.
