Interculturalism in a multicultural country, an unfulfilled reality in theColombian education system

The educational system allows us to demonstrate the way in which educational services and actions are organized in the states and their territorial entities, supervised by the Ministry of Education, allowing the levels of teaching and other educational services to be
established, taking into account the context. The above guides that the educational system manages to link a policy as a mechanism for the development of a territory and the most representative way of not
sectorizing human groups and this delimits the processes of advances in “society, education and modern pedagogy and integration.”. That
is why we do not talk about a single educational system due to the particularities of our geography and human conditions in Colombia; Thinking about an educational system is generating changes from control entities such as the Ministry of Education, departmental and municipal education secretaries; and educational establishments, in order to strengthen a system that responds to national needs and promotes the development of capabilities, cultural recognition in order to expand knowledge, being, doing and good living. It is there where we must bet on the construction, synchronization and interconnection of education in context from interculturality as a commitment to the
search for relationships between cultures where there is equity,  respect, fair and harmonious conditions for the strengthening of identities and the approach to other cultures contributing to the construction of a sense and valuation of oneself, under the capacities that affect the relationship with others.
