Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) also known as acute lymphocytic leukemia It is the most frequent debilitating, degenerative and multifaceted malignant neoplasm in childhood, accounting for about 80% of these leukemias. It is one of the acute leukemias with the highest cure rates, product of the intensification in the application of the different chemotherapy protocols, even so, it causes adverse effects in infant patients with ALL.

Chemotherapy is the main method used as a treatment which not only destroys but also slows down the growth of cancer cells and healthy cells, despite this it has been shown that it generates different complications from those of the disease. Among the main complications with the highest incidence, neurological, musculoskeletal, oral and metabolic conditions stand out, particularly associated with toxicity due to administered drugs, which affect physical and psychomotor development and the quality of life of patients suffering from this hematological malignancy in kids.
