Transformación digital en la educación médica
Digital health ecosystems have emerged as agents of change in the paradigm of professional practice and the training of human talent in health sciences. This article examines the impact of these advances on healthcare systems and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), highlighting the transition towards preventive, participatory, predictive and personalized healthcare (4P Medicine). In the field of medical education, technology has provided solutions that improve accessibility, equity, timeliness and efficiency, generating the need to adapt curricula, technologies and pedagogical methods to strengthen quality of care, patient safety and evidence-based medicine.
