Digital transformation and hyperconnectivity have broadened access to information and health services, yet they have also brought new demands, dehumanization, and bioethical dilemmas into the practice of care. This FIKA TALK proposes a critical dialogue on the humanization of healthcare as a non-negotiable ethical principle amid automation and mounting clinical pressure. It examines the core values of humanized care —autonomy, compassion, communication, and respect— alongside the principles of confidentiality, comprehensive care, safety, and quality, weighing them against current challenges in population mental health and professional burnout in digital settings. Drawing on the author's clinical, academic, and public-management experience, the talk outlines strategies for occupational self-care, digitally-mediated education grounded in solidarity, and ethical governance of emerging health technologies. The goal is to reflect collectively on how to preserve the human bond —psychological, emotional, and moral— amid technological change, recognizing that no digital tool can replace the dignity of the encounter between caregiver and patient.
