Objective: To characterize and prepare a dataset on the territorial profile of disability and functioning categories among older adults registered in the Registry for the Location and Characterization of Persons with Disabilities (RLCPD) of Nariño, assessing class distribution, imbalance, and spatial dependence for machine learning pipelines. Method: Cross-sectional study of 5,986 people aged 60 years or older with certified disability, across 64 municipalities and 13 subregions. Seven disability categories, their multiplicity, and the predominant functioning profile were analyzed according to the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF), and compared territorially using heat maps, chi-square tests, Cramér's V, and prevalence ratios (PR, 95% CI). Results: Physical disability predominated (64.0%), with mobility as the most prevalent functioning profile (51.9%); 24.4% accumulated three or more categories. Geography was the strongest determinant of the profile (subregional V up to 0.24): the northeastern mountain range (cordillera) concentrated excesses in psychosocial disability (Río Mayo, PR = 2.05), multiple disability (1.98), and hearing disability, whereas the Pacific coast showed an almost exclusively physical-motor profile (Telembí, hearing PR = 0.18). Conclusion: The strong territorial dependence requires predictive models to incorporate handling of minority-class imbalance, mandatory spatial cross-validation to prevent data leakage, and robust geographic encoding of subregions.
