This paper describes the development of a Territorial CIPAS experience linked to the Telehealth course, aimed at addressing real needs in a vulnerable community in the Villa Gorgona corregimiento, municipality of Candelaria, Valle del Cauca. The objective was to strengthen health promotion and the adoption of self-care practices through tele-education strategies designed and implemented by students of the Telehealth course. The problem addressed is related to limitations in healthy habits, especially in nutrition, as well as barriers to access to health education, identified through a participatory community diagnosis carried out in collaboration with the Carvajal Foundation.

The methodology included a participatory approach developed in phases of diagnosis, design of tele-education tools (infographics, podcasts, and playful activities), and execution of an educational session adapted to the socio-cultural conditions of the population characterized by low literacy levels.

The results show high community participation, appropriation of health knowledge, and strengthening of competencies in students, especially in formative research, community work, and use of technologies for health education.

It is concluded that telehealth, through inclusive and contextualized tele-education, is consolidated as an effective tool for social transformation by contributing to the reduction of gaps in access to knowledge and strengthening practices of health promotion and prevention in vulnerable territories.
