This article examines the relevance of the ethics of care in promoting the mental health of female heads of household in Aguachica, Cesar. Using a concurrent mixed-methods approach and the TEI method, it reflects on the role of care in contexts of hyperconnectivity and vulnerability, addressing the following research question: How does the ethics of care promote mental health and emotional support among female heads of household? The findings reveal improvements in emotional well-being and community strengthening. It is concluded that reinforcing support networks and integrating philosophy, psychology, and empirical methods contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon.
